Last January, we publicly announced a plan to separate our mining and cement businesses into two distinct organizations. The purpose was to give each the unencumbered freedom to best adapt to their own customer’s objectives. Now, 10 months later, we formally introduce you to FLSmidth Cement. We have a new brand and a new website, but our mission to lead the transition to green cement continues unaltered. We know you, and you know us. We have been in this industry for over 140 years and remain as passionate as ever in helping you produce cement as efficiently as possible.
In the coming weeks we are finalizing internal changes to effectively separate our mining and cement functions. This will make us more agile and fit for the purpose of serving the cement industry. None of this will impact our offerings, nor will there be any changes to sales coverage.
